Paulo Dybala discusses Europa League clash with Milan: “De Rossi can become a great coach.”

Roma attacker Paulo Dybala joined Daniele De Rossi in tonight’s press conference as Roma are hours away from facing Milan in the first leg of the Europa League quarterfinals.

In his pre-match presser, Dybala was asked about Daniele De Rossi and his leadership as a young coach.

“Watching him go to work every day, and how he communicates with us and the things he tries to teach us, what he gives us from a mental standpoint… I am sure that he will become a great manager and spoken of in the vein of Allegri and Mourinho.”

“We are going through a positive spell. Winning helps you prepare for matches with more serenity. Facing this match against Milan is a good test for us too. It’s a good challenge at the right time.”

“At the moment I feel great, I trained really during the week, then the coach decides who plays and how many minutes, but I’m available.”

“Being the leader of a team, being able to help your teammates is wonderful. I try to give my best every day, on and off the pitch, helping the younger players, talking to the team captains, it’s a great responsibility. I’m trying to improve as well.”

“Budapest? I think losing a final is one of the worst things, almost the worst in football. I lost many finals, I won others, but I really wanted to win that final. The journey we took was beautiful, we were very close to winning it and unfortunately it didn’t happen. I believe that group would have remained in the history of the club.”

“My future? We get on very well with Daniele. Some choices are not up to me. We are happy with the work we are doing, and we would like to continue working with him. But then you need to know what the club’s intentions are.”
