Roma attacker Paulo Dybala spoke to Sky Sport on the eve of the first leg of the Europa League quarterfinals with Milan.

In his interview, the Argentine forward acknowledged the importance of this match in a packed San Siro stadium.

“We all know how important this match is. We will be playing in a very difficult stadium against a great opponent. But in recent years we have gotten used to playing in this type of competition, I think it will be a very good match.”

“My role in the dressing room? I always try to give my best on the pitch, then whether I am labelled a leader or not is up to others. These are things that are obviously nice to hear, but I train as hard as I can every day to do what the coach asks of me and give my contribution to the team.”

“Obviously it is easier to define leaders as those who play in my role, but thanks to the style of play that the coach wants us to have and what he asks of me I am able to play better.”

“What I like most about De Rossi is what he conveys to us, how he speaks in front of everyone, how he makes himself heard, how he shows his leadership. When he speaks before the match there is absolute silence and everyone listens to him eagerly and he motivates us a lot before stepping onto the pitch.”
