Roma are able to breathe a sigh of relief as the capital club’s two most important players in Paulo Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini seem to be doing better than initially feared by Jose Mourinho and his staff.

Whereas Lorenzo Pellegrini has returned to the Italian capital following a series of medical tests with Italy at Coverciano that revealed a minor injury to his flexor muscle, Paulo Dybala intends to stay with Argentina at least until Friday.

The 28-year-old – who was forced to forfeit Roma-Atalanta only minutes before kick-off – is going to have a final medical evaluation tomorrow. This check-up will determine his status for international duty.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Dybala is expected to be available for the highly-anticipated Inter showdown at the San Siro on October 1st. If he were to stay with Argentina’s national team, Dybala would only return to Rome 48h before kick-off.
