Paulo Dybala fired up after leading Roma in win over Monza

Roma attacker Paulo Dybala scores his 100th goal in tonight’s imposing win at the Stadio Olimpico against newly promoted side Monza.

The Argentine international was asked to discuss the thoughts racing through his head after bagging a brace which helped Roma secure three points.

“I really wanted to score, fortunately I got both of them tonight in front of our fans,” he told DAZN after the game. “I am also very happy with the victory. We continue to grow as a team.”

“When you play consistently you start to play better. We have to be good at managing our energy because there are many matches in front of us.”

“This is a good group of players,” Dybala remarked. “There’s a positive mood between us. It’s too early to tell how far we can go.”

Finally, when asked about what Mourinho told him during their embrace as Dybala exited the pitch, the 28-year-old declined to answer, laughing, “That stays between the two of us. You’ll have to ask him.”
