Paulo Dybala was one of the highlights of last night’s win over Udinese.
The Argentine forward helped pushed Roma over the Friulani by scoring a late goal to give the Giallorossi a 2-1 advantage.
In his post-match interview with Roma TV, Dybala did not hide his own delight at the goal and the team’s performance.
“Tonight we suffered because of our own fault,” he said. “They tied the match also due to a ball that I lost in possession. We had to do something more in a game that was quite controlled. We were good at coming out of the slump and closing it out.”
“These three points are huge for our position in the table and the team’s morale,” he added.
“I’m happy to have scored. The action that led to my goal was really nice and I found myself in front of the goal-keeper, one on one, and I had to score from there.”
“We are very close to the Champions League zone, the season is still long. Now we have to think about the Europa League and we have to try to win by scoring as many goals as possible,” he concluded.
