New details have emerged regarding the contract of Paulo Dybala at Roma.
The Argentine forward’s deal with the Giallorossi is officially set to expire next year following his signing in the summer of 2022.
However, today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport reports that there is an additional option in the present deal that would enable Dybala to automatically extend his stay for an additional year.
In fact, the newspaper suggests that if Dybala were to remain at Roma beyond this summer, the Argentine would only need to complete 50% of all appearances next season to guarantee the automatic activation of an option that would extend his contract until 2026.
Moreover, the player’s entourage are expected to meet with the capital club in the coming weeks to discuss their plans for the future and go into more detail with regards to the attacker’s long-term options.
