With the departure of Ciro Immobile from Italy’s top flight, Paulo Dybala has achieved another career milestone.

By deciding to stay in Rome and reject Al Qadsiah’s offer, Dybala cemented himself not only in the eyes of fans but also in the history books of Serie A.

The best active goal-scorer, in fact, wears Roma colors.

It hadn’t happened since 2017, from the day of the last match of Totti who closed his career with 250 goals in Serie A, in 2nd place in the all-time rankings behind Piola who, counting the 16 of the 1945-46 double-round league season, scored 290.

Now this honor falls to Dybala, writes Corriere della Sera, who is 50th overall (along with Baldini, Trezeguet and Vialli) at 123 goals: he scored first 16 with Palermo, then 82 with Juventus and 25 with the Giallorossi.
