Paulo Dybala’s heroics lifted the Giallorossi over Genoa in last night’s narrow win to help the team advance to the next Coppa Italia round.
Following the match, Dybala highlighted his relationship with Mourinho and Roma supporters as the main reason for his status as a World Champion.
“Mourinho wanted me here so I’m delighted if he’s happy with what I’m doing,” he told Sky Sport. “I’m World Champion also thanks to him.”
“I will always give 200% for Mourinho and for all the fans,” added Dybala. “Mourinho is helping me improve every day.”
