Roma are putting in first place the possibility of extending Paulo Dybala’s contract.

The capital club want to propose the Argentine forward a new deal as he is only one year away from the expiry of his current contract which additionally contains a release clause valid for foreign clubs this summer.

According to Tuttosport, Daniele De Rossi – who was recently appointed as Roma’s long-term manager – has requested the club to pursue negotiations and make Dybala’s new contract a priority by the end of the season.

The newspaper reports that the agreement could be extended for one or two additional seasons, for a salary of €6-6.5 million per year plus €1-1.5 million in bonuses.
