Out of favor Roma attacker, Pedro, is closing in on a move to arch rivals Lazio.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Spaniard has agreed to a small wage reduction in order to join the Biancocelesti and reunite with Maurizio Sarri.

Roma are keen to move on from the attacker due to his large wages and have no objections to him joining their fierce city rivals. However, they are requesting a small amount of compensation for Pedro—which the clubs could link to the number of appearances he makes this season.

Roma manager Jose Mourinho froze the 34 year-old out from the first team and didn’t call him up for his side’s preseason training.

Executive Tiago Pinto has prioritised offloading the high-earning veterans at the club that have played little to no part over recent seasons, including Javier Pastore, Steven Nzonzi, and Federico Fazio.
