Pedro before kick-off against Napoli: “Today isn’t a normal match.”

Roma attacker, Pedro, appeared on Sky Sport before his side kick-off this evening against Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo.

The match comes just days after the passing of Napoli and Argentine legend Diego Maradona.

“Today is a special match with a certain significance for all of the fans of this sport because of what Maradona meant to football,” said the Spaniard. “He was a legend.”

”This is a chance for us to verify how good we are, the team’s mentality is good so hopefully we play well and get the three points.”

”The team is still growing and we have the margins to improve. But the season is long and there’s still many matches left to be played. We can improve a lot and tonight is a chance to verify where we stack up.”

He concluded, “We must continue down this path that we’re on.”
