Pedro drawing interest from Lazio


One of the main suspects destined to leave the club before the end of the transfer window is Pedro.

The 33-year-old Spaniard is still waiting to understand what his future might look like in the upcoming campaign.

According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla of Sportitalia, the veteran winger has drawn interest from a number of Serie A sides. More specifically, Lazio may consider making a move for him.

Maurizio Sarri’s side is currently looking for a winger, and the manager likes Pedro very much ever since they worked together at Chelsea between 2018 and 2019.

It remains to be seen whether Lazio would be willing to cover Pedro’s current wages: a little over €3 million per season with two years left on his contract.

Nonetheless, Roma’s derby rivals remain interested in the player and might inquire about him in the coming days.
