Roma are closing in on the free transfer of Chelsea attacker Pedro.
As reported by calciomercato.it’s Eleonora Trotta, the ex-Barcelona man is nearing a move to the Italian capital with the Giallorossi.
Pedro, whose contract with Chelsea will expire on 30 June, will be able to join the club on a free transfer after spending the past five years at the London-based club.
Reportedly, Roma manager Paulo Fonseca has explicitly requested the services of the Spaniard, who has made only 9 league appearances this term under Frank Lampard.
Pedro would likely be given an important role in Fonseca’s 4-2-3-1 formation given that wingers Diego Perotti, Cengiz Ünder, and Justin Kluivert have all been linked with potential summer moves away from the club.
