Lazio attacker Pedro is still frustrated with the way Roma handled his exit in the summer of 2021 after the Spaniard’s disappointing campaign with the Giallorossi.
The ex-Chelsea man once again went over the episode leading up to his move to city rivals Lazio under coach Maurizio Sarri in a recent interview with Radio Marca Tenerife.
“I didn’t expect Mourinho to dismiss me and not rely on me,” said the veteran
“But that’s football for you,” he added. “In football there’s always good moments and bad ones. And that’s what happened to me.”
In the end he concluded, “Afterwards I really wanted to go to Lazio.”
