Pedro speaks on his switch to Lazio: “Roma left me out without saying a word.”

Ex-Roma attacker Pedro was one of the main players from whom Roma wished to move on in the summer transfer window. After only one year with the Giallorossi, Pedro completed a rather controversial move to rival club Lazio.

The Spaniard recently spoke to Lazio Style Radio and shared his thoughts on his time at Roma and the decision to move on.

“I was in a difficult situation at Roma. They left me out of the squad without having spoken to anyone from the management. When I spoke to Sarri it was an opportunity, it is true that such a transfer has not happened for a long time but I am very happy to be here.”

When asked about the goal he scored in Roma’s last derby win, he added:

“Roma is in the past. I don’t want to talk about it.”
