Pedro undergoes medical: “I’m very happy to be here”.

RomaPress – Roma welcomed former Chelsea attacker Pedro yesterday to the Italian capital as the Spaniard is set to complete his free transfer to the Giallorossi.

Pedro touched down rather quietly yesterday in Rome at Ciampino Airport and avoided the usual frenzy that most players receive as the majority of the media was fixated on the completion of the sale of club to Dan Friedkin.

This morning, Pedro underwent his medical examinations and also saw a specialist, who examined his recently surgically repaired right shoulder.

The attacker completed his medical just before 11.30 CET and spoke very briefly to the awaiting media members, “I’m very happy to be here,” he stated.

The Spaniard will now sign his contract with the club and officially become an AS Roma player.
