Pedro undergoes successful surgery on shoulder

Soon-to-be Roma attacker, Pedro, revealed on his Instagram account this afternoon that he underwent successful surgery following a dislocated shoulder suffered in Saturday’s FA Cup final against Arsenal.

The Spaniard suffered the injury in the dying stages of the match and was forced to be stretchered off the pitch.

Pedro is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks, but this won’t affect the deal that he already has in place to join Roma on a free transfer from Chelsea.

The Giallorossi initially planned on bringing the attacker in for his medical examinations immediately after his commitments with Chelsea were completed.

Roma will now allow the former Barcelona man to recover and then fly him to the Italian capital, at which time he will also sign his contract with the club.
