Pellegrini expected to start vs Sassuolo

Lorenzo Pellegrini’s appearance off the bench in the Coppa Italia match against Inter gives Roma hope for the upcoming league fixture at the Mapei Stadium.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Pellegrini is likely to feature among the starting eleven on Sunday after recovering from a muscle injury.

The Roma captain is expected to start in the attack, alongside Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Felix who will provide service from the wings.

Tammy Abraham should recover in time after suffering a heavy knock in the loss to Inter. The medical staff are optimistic about the Englishman’s recovery.

Zaniolo will, as expected, miss the match due to suspension after receiving a red card vs Genoa.
