After his superb performance against Bologna in the Giallorossi’s 5-1 victory yesterday afternoon in Emilia-Romagna, midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini appears to be growing closer to renewing his contract with Roma.
Calciomercato.com reports that the 24 year-old is nearing a new deal with the club until 2025. Reportedly, Tiago Pinto, who officially begins his post at the club as the new General Director on 1 January, has made Pellegrini’s contract renewal his top priority.
The Italian national will receive a wage increase from €2 million to €3 million net per season and will likely see the elimination of the €30 million release clause that exists in his current deal.
