Good news for Jose Mourinho who will most likely be able to rely on his captain, Lorenzo Pellegrini, after initial reports put the midfielder’s availability in doubt for tonight due to flu symptoms.
However, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pellegrini has recovered and will be available to play from the start in Mourinho’s starting line-up.
Similarly, Rick Karsdorp is expected to replace Nicola Zalewski on the right wing, with Leonardo Spinazzola continuing his streak of positive performances from the start.
Nemanja Matic will take his place alongside Bryan Cristante in the midfield. Tammy Abraham will also return to the line-up after coming off the bench in recent games.
