Amid rumors of players discontent over the last 48 hours, Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma’s locker room does not show signs of such feelings at all.
Following the loss to Inter, the players were reportedly frustrated with Mourinho’s words being leaked to the press as the meeting inside the locker room at San Siro included all 22 players and coaching staff, no further outsiders.
According to the newspaper, the Friedkins and Tiago Pinto are fully supportive of Mourinho and willing to back him no matter what. Similarly, the players appreciate the way Mourinho voices his opinions and have no issue with his style of communication.
Finally, the leaders of the team – captain Lorenzo Pellegrini, and vice-captains Gianluca Mancini and Bryan Cristante – reaffirmed their trust in the Special One and are determined to work toward Mourinho’s vision of what this Roma team should be like on and off the pitch.
