Roma’s win over Milan in yesterday’s second leg at the Olimpico saw the Giallorossi put an impressive collective effort to secure the victory despite going down to 10 men in the first half.
In today’s Italian media, the Giallorossi all received very high grades, with Daniele De Rossi being praised for the way he set his team up and the changes he made that allowed Roma to maintain a consistent level of energy which enabled them to advance to their third consecutive European semifinal.
For the most part, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Gianluca Mancini, Stephan El Shaarawy and Paulo Dybala all received an average rating of 8-8.5 out of 10.
Only Zeki Celik – who was shown a red card thirty minutes into the game – received a negative score.
