A nightmare performance for Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini while representing Italy in tonight’s Nations League match with Belgium.

The Giallorossi captain, fielded by Luciano Spalletti in Italy-Belgium from the start, forced his national team to play with ten men for more than half of the match.

In the 40th minute, in fact, a bad tackle on the ankle of Belgian Arthur Theate cost him a straight red card.

The match referee had first shown a yellow card but after being called by the VAR he changed the color of the card.

As he left the field, several whistles from the fans were aimed at Pellegrini who is certainly not experiencing a good moment since the dismissal of Daniele De Rossi.
