Pellegrini to ask Roma for clarity in long-term plans

Lorenzo Pellegrini appears bothered with his increasingly inconsistent playing time.

The Giallorossi skipper no longer plays a key role in the team’s formation and his appearances are few and scattered across several cameos, primarily in Serie A in recent weeks.

As a result, Corriere dello Sport reports that Pellegrini will seek more clarity on Roma’s long-term plans and his role in them at the end of the season.

The midfielder respects Ranieri a lot and would prefer to remain at Roma, but if faced with the prospect of no longer starting for the club, he could opt to leave the capital given the expiry of his contract in 2026.
