Pellegrini to start off the bench vs Genoa

Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini

Lorenzo Pellegrini has recovered from the injury that had him sidelined for the past few weeks after going down with a painful discomfort to his leg in the training session leading up to Roma’s 1-0 win over Cagliari.

According to Il Messaggero, the Roma captain underwent individual training recently and will soon join his teammates ahead of the weekend fixture vs Genoa.

The newspaper reports that Pellegrini is likely to start off the bench as Mourinho wants him fully available and ready to start in the big match in the Coppa Italia against Inter.
