Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini went down with a head injury in the second half of Roma-Real Sociedad.
The Italian midfielder was taken off the pitch and, as reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, underwent an immediate CAT scan. The test did not reveal any concussions.
Additionally, Pellegrini had stitches applied to the open wound. His availability for Sunday’s Serie A affair with Sassuolo is questionable.
