Roma received a big boost today as it was learned that Lorenzo Pellegrini will available for their pivotal Europa League showdown against Sevilla on Saturday, according to Sky Sport.
The midfielder underwent nasal surgery last week following a broken nose suffered during the win against Fiorentina. Pellegrini wasn’t called-up for yesterday’s match against Juventus, the final one of Roma’s league campaign, but he is expected to recover in time for Saturday’s match in Germany.
The 24 year-old will begin training with the group tomorrow and will wear a protective mask against the Spaniards.
It remains to be seen if Paulo Fonseca will start the Italian or if he will opt to, once again, use starlet Nicolo Zaniolo alongside Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
