Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola revealed he was among the people watching the latest Serie A encounter between Roma and Atalanta.

During his recent press conference appearance, Guardiola discussed Liverpool’s exit from the Europa League at the hands of Gasperini’s Atalanta, which he went on to praise for their victory over Roma on Sunday:

“Liverpool should be considered a winning team because at the end of it all they fought to win four trophies, and to be in that situation.”

“They faced Atalanta in Europa League. Have you seen Atalanta-Roma? The match they played, wow! Atalanta are incredible, they can beat any team they want,” he added.
