Peres charged with drink driving

Roma right back Bruno Peres was involved in an auto accident early this morning, which resulted in damage to his car.

As reported by La Repubblica, the Brazilian was summoned to Trigoria after Di Francesco gave the team a day off and was forced to do work with an athletic trainer after Roma’s hierarchy learned the facts surrounding Peres’ accident. It is reported that the player tested positive when given a blood alcohol test after the incident. Peres has immediately had his driving license withdrawn and will be subject to a large fine.
