Peres: “A transfer? I can only say that I’m happy in Rome.”

Roma right back Bruno Peres spoke to UOL Esporte and addressed the rumors surrounding a potential January exit from the Giallorossi. These are his words:

”I’ve read this news about my alleged transfer, but I can only say that I’m happy in Rome. I’m happy because this is one of the biggest clubs in the world with a great history and a very respected shirt. I am flattered by the interest of other clubs, which shows that my work has been well done. I played well until I got injured and helped the team win important matches. I do my best in training so that when opportunities arrive, I can compete on the pitch. I’m proud to be closing in on 60 matches played with Roma. Unfortunately, I had an injury that did not allow me to play but that phase is over and I’m working hard to regain my space in the team. “
