Perotti arrives in Turkey, set to join Fenerbahçe

RomaPress – Diego Perotti has arrived in Turkey and is set to depart Roma.

The Argentine attacker touched down in Istanbul within the hour to complete his move to Fenerbahçe after having spent the last four and a half seasons at Roma.

The Giallorossi will allow the player to leave for free — saving them the €3 million in net wages that the former Genoa man was set to earn this season.

Furthermore, Fenerbahçe acknowledged on social media that they have officially entered talks for the 32 year-old attacker.

“Our club has started negotiations with Diego Perotti. The player came to Istanbul today within the scope of negotiations, health examinations in order to move the transfer process further,” read their statement.

Perotti will waive goodbye to the Italian capital after having appeared in 132 matches for Roma.
