Roma attacker Diego Perotti spoke today in an interview to Sky Sport ahead of Saturday’s match against Juve:
What does it mean to beat Lazio and Milan ahead of Juve?
It means we’ve stayed close to Juventus and haven’t lost anymore than the 4 points that are currently the difference. Winning the Derby is important for the team and for the fans. The win against Milan was important. Now we must do everything to beat Juventus, which is also important.
Roma have changed their style of play?
Unfortunately, we have had numerous injuries. First Florenzi, then Salah, and now Bruno Peres. We had to change the way we play, the Mister has done well as have we on the pitch.
Your best goal?
The first at the Olimpico against Sampdoria. It was crucial but also exciting.
Your best assist?
Another first, the one against Sassuolo. My debut with Roma, and we won on a beautiful evening.
The secret of your penalty kicks?
It’a a secret, I started kicking them this way since I was at Sevilla. It takes practice, I am comfortable kicking then, too. I understand that it’s a risk kicking them this way but, for me, it’s practical.
