Roma attacker Diego Perotti appeared on Roma Radio today following his season debut from the start in yesterday’s 2-1 victory over Milan.
The Argentine has been out since August after having suffered a hamstring injury just before the start of the season: “For me, it was terrible to go through the pre-season then be forced to stop due to injury for a long time. But now I’m fine and the negative moment is behind us.”
He continued, “My fitness is improving and will get better and better. We need to start winning matches like the upcoming one in Udine. We can’t win against Milan and then take a step back with Udinese. It’s happened too many times since I’ve been here and we don’t want it to happen again.”
“The injuries? Those who have been out are slowly starting to return. However, if we don’t win on Wednesday, we cancel out all we did against Milan”.
