Petrachi growing closer to Roma switch

Il Corriere dello Sport have reported that Torino sporting director Gianluca Petrachi has found an agreement with Roma on the basis of a two year contract. With the imminent arrival of Petrachi, current sporting director, Ricky Massara, will now decide whether or not to accept a new role at the club, which could be the director of scouting. It’s possible that Petrachi meets with Granata president Urbano Cairo in the coming days to discuss his future — once this is resolved, he will likely fly to the United States to meet with Pallotta. Petrachi could also bring his most trusted collaborator and right hand man, Antonio Cavallo, with him to Trigoria.
