Petrachi hands in Torino resignation, Roma awaits

Gianluca Petrachi is set to leave the sporting director’s position at Torino. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that on Wednesday evening, the soon to be former Granata sporting director submitted his resignation to president Urbano Cairo, who had already adressed the matter a few hours earlier during Emiliano Moretti’s retirement press conference, confirming that he had “already talked about” a possible move to Roma for the sporting director. Now Petrachi is waiting for the federal resolution before receiving the green light to move to Roma, where he will also bring two other men from his staff.
