The relationship between Roma president James Pallotta and Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi continues to sour as the latter could potentially leave the club in the coming hours.
Sky Sport has reported that the pair don’t see eye to eye on how to handle the upcoming transfer market as Petrachi prefers to make some purchases to build upon the work he did in January.
Since Pallotta failed to close a deal for the sale of the club with Dan Friedkin, the transfer plans for this summer have, reportedly, been altered by the Bostonian.
The differences between the pair are so strong that Petrachi could even officially depart the club in the coming hours — less than 365 days since joining.
Petrachi officially joined the Giallorossi last summer on 1 July after spending several years at Torino.
