Petrachi responds to Cairo: “I never promised Nkoulou a transfer”.

Roma sporting Gianluca Petrachi responded today to the episode involving Torino defender Nicolas Nkoulou and Torino president Urbano Cairo.

The Cameroon international claimed Petrachi promised he could leave the Granata this summer, however, his departure was blocked — which ultimately led to his discontent with the club.

Speaking to Ansa, Petrachi stated, “Regarding the statements made today by president Cairo, I would like to point out I’ve never promised Nkoulou nor his agent, Maxime Nana, an eventual sale”.

“I hope I will no longer be drawn into matters concerning Torino, to whom I wish the best of luck for the rest of the season”.
