RomaPress – Soon-to-be sporting director Gianluca Petrachi and Roma CEO Guido Fienga landed at Fiumicino airport just after midnight today after having met with the agents of Shakhtar Donetsk boss Paulo Fonseca.
Even though he’s still under contract with Torino, Petrachi unofficially commenced working for the Giallorossi last week.
His representatives are still in talks with Torino regarding a contract resolution and it’s unknown how long the negotiation could last.
Nevertheless, the club’s meeting with Fonseca was positive, with the parties reaching an agreement on a two-year contract with a club option for a third year.
Roma are expected to unveil Fonseca as their new boss sometime within the next week.
