Pinto ponders move for Benfica’s Chief Scout, Pedro Ferreira

Tiago Pinto is looking to potentially bring a familiar face to the Italian capital to work alongside him.

Alessandro Austini of Il Tempo reports that the Portuguese executive is pondering the possibility of bringing one of his former colleagues and the current Chief Scout of Benfica, Pedro Ferreira, to the club.

Roma’s current Chief Scout, Antonio Cavallo, will likely depart at the end of the season in order to team back up with Gianluca Petrachi, the former Sporting Director of Roma, at Fiorentina.

Reportedly, the 36 year-old Pinto is interested in bringing Ferreira to Roma because he considers him a very trusted collaborator.
