Inter manager Stefano Pioli to Sky Sport after his team’s 3-1 loss to Roma:
What was the difference tonight?
Tonight we played against a strong team that punished us for each mistake that we ended up making. They were efficient in the offensive phase of the match. Dzeko, Salah and Nainggolan were the dangerous ones and we looked a bit unprepared and unsure of ourselves, which they capitalised on. They were clinical with their offense, we weren’t. The match turned difficult for us mentally after their opening goal because we had to try and equalize while they were efficient in their counter attacks. Nainggolan is such a strong player and he just keeps on improving. He is a complete midfielder and he shot us down with strength and quality.
