After a 34-year absence, Pisa officially returns to Serie A.
Promotion came at the end of the 36th matchday of Serie B, despite the 1-0 defeat against Bari: the celebration was the simultaneous fall of Spezia, beaten 2-1 by Reggiana, which certified the return of the Tuscans to the top division.
Pisa is the second team promoted directly after Sassuolo, and returns to Serie A for the first time since the 1990/91 season, writing a new page in history for the club and the city.
