Politano returns to Milano

Matteo Politano has left Rome to return to Milano after his proposed move to the Giallorossi fell through. The 26 year-old arrived in the Italian capital and underwent his medical two days ago to join Paulo Fonseca’s side. However, the former Sassuolo man’s proposed swap deal with Leonardo Spinazzola fell through after Inter changed the terms of the operation on two different occasions. It remains unclear whether or not Roma will try to bring Politano to the club via a different transfer formula.
