Politano to be called-up for Parma-Roma

RomaPress – He only just arrived, but Matteo Politano will immediately be at the disposal of Paulo Fonseca. The 26 year-old marked his return to his boyhood club today in the swap deal that saw Leonardo Spinazzola join Inter.

The attacker arrived this morning in the Italian capital then immediately underwent his medical examination at Villa Stuart. Politano has already put pen to paper on his contract and the official announcement will arrive in the coming hours. Even though he has been with the club less than 24 hours, the Giallorossi will immediately call him up for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia clash against Parma. It’s unlikely that he will start the match, however, a cameo role from the bench cannot be ruled out.
