Porto’s Herrera continues to be linked to Roma

The transfer market never sleeps and for Roma, it’s no exception. According to Corriere dello Sport, the Spanish sporting director has his eye on two names for the January transfer market: Iago Maidana of Atletico Miniero and Hector Herrera of Porto. Maidana, a class of 1996 defender, stands at a massive 1.95m (6’5″) tall and is working on acquiring a European passport and has a reported price tag of €5 million. Herrera, meanwhile, who was linked with Roma throughout the summer, has still been unable to come to an agreement with the Portuguese club on a contract renewal.
