Roma manager Eusebio Di Francesco spoke to Sky Sport after the Giallorossi threw away a three goal lead and drew with Atalanta. Here’s an excerpt of his words:
“In the first half we did well and the team made the right choices knowing when they were attacking with so many men, we did well to go over the top. But the only problem is that this isn’t the first time this has happened to us. It’s absurd to see a team with the same players put in such a different performance from one half to the second. Our work isn’t over and the team hasn’t recovered from these deficiencies. We showed what we are capable of, but Atalanta can kill you when you allow them that much of the ball. We lost the ball too often and also lost too many individual duels”.
