Key Matchup
Kostas Manolas (Roma) vs. Gonzalo Higuain (Napoli)
Greek defender Kostas Manolas had his second poor showing in a row against Torino as the Giallorossi were barely able to squeak out a win against the Granata thanks to a god-like showing from Francesco Totti. Manolas’ positioning, movement, and aggressiveness have taken a massive drop in his last two matches and his task doesn’t get any easier as Napoli will welcome back Gonzalo Higuain from a three match ban. The Argentine is arguably the best player in Serie A so Manolas will have his hands full on Monday evening. Manolas must return to his dominate levels that he’s capable of playing at or else Roma will be in heaps of trouble against Maurizio Sarri’s men.
