José Mourinho may face further punishments for his criticism of referees Di Paolo and Di Bello at the Maradona Stadium on Monday.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office is thinking of referring Mourinho’s recent complaints about match officials in Napoli-Roma for defamatory statements, reports Il Messaggero.
Mourinho called out the two match officials for failing to make consistent decisions throughout the game.
The Special One said in his post-match interviews he felt Roma “did not have the right to win the game” from a refereeing standpoint.
