As reported by Sky Sport, the French club is looking for a replacement for Rabiot and have identified the former Sassuolo man as the ideal candidate. The Parisians have inquired with Pellegrini’s agent in recent days —- the player has a €30 million release clause.
For Roma, they continue to eye Empoli’s Ismael Bennacer. Tomorrow, the agent of the Algerian midfielder will meet in Italy with the Tuscan side to understand if the conditions are in place for the player to leave in January. In the event of a positive response, Roma might think of presenting an offer to buy him for January.
