PSG pushing for Georginio Wijnaldum’s exit, Roma at the window

In recent weeks, Roma have been offered the services of out-of-favour Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum. As the Dutchman continues his search for a new team, his entourage have been shopping him around Europe.

Roma are among the teams interested in the 31-year-old as Mourinho’s team are in need of reinforcements for the midfield for the upcoming campaign.

According to Il Tempo, the capital club have been in contact with the player’s agents.

However, the main obstacle Roma have encountered is Wijnaldum’s exorbitant salary. The ex-Liverpool man earns €9 million per season.

At the moment, PSG are open to covering half of Wijnaldum’s salary as long as he were to exit the French side on a favorable transfer.
