Roma appear set to miss out on long-time transfer target Tanguy Ndombele.

French outlet Footmercato reports that Ndombele’s agents traveled to Paris this past weekend to hold further discussions with giants PSG.

Even though an agreement still hasn’t been found, discussions between the parties are progressing. Meanwhile, the Ligue 1 side and Spurs remain locked in negotiations surrounding a potential transfer for the French international.

The clubs are reportedly weighing several options in order to strike a deal, including a potential player swap. The midfielder’s agents will stay in the French capital to continue talks to try and get the deal over the finish line.

The 25 year-old has experienced a complicated spell in London since he joined the club in the summer of 2019 for over €60 million from Lyon.

Since arriving in the summer, Roma boss Jose Mourinho has been keen on reuniting with Ndombele in the Italian capital.
